Green & Clean Landscaping Inc. was founded in 2012 by Alex Romo, who spent 12 years in operations and management at Costco and ValleyCrest (now BrightView) before starting the company from a single truck. Over more than a decade, that company grew into one of the Piedmont Triad's established commercial grounds care providers — licensed, HUB Certified, and trusted by retail centers, HOAs, and property managers across five counties.
Rise & Shine Lot Sweeping is the newest chapter: a division built specifically around commercial parking lot sweeping, so property managers who only need sweeping — not full grounds care — get a dedicated team, dedicated equipment, and a name built around exactly one job. Same crews. Same licensing. Same in-house-only standard. A sharper focus.
The two companies work side by side. Green & Clean handles the landscape — mowing, beds, irrigation, seasonal color, and hardscaping — while Rise & Shine handles the pavement: sweeping, pressure washing, snow and ice, and litter service. Properties that need both can have them quoted together after one site walk, with one point of contact.
